Located at 47 Pumpkin Point Road East in Echo Bay, ON P0S 1C0, The Turning Point Woodworking and Photography has been in existence for 30 years and has been at the market as day vendor or seasonal vendor since it was established.
Their products include primarily woodturning objects such as bowls, plates, platters, kitchen utensils, and other wood items like boxes, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, epoxy boards, tables, as well as a range of original photography, photo cards, and sewn goods.
Errol is sole proprietor of The Turning Point Woodworking and Photography and has been working with wood and doing photography most of his life. He focuses primarily on woods local to Ontario. All items that might come into contact with foods, are treated with food safe finishes. He is retired from the Canadian Forest Service and worked for several years after retirement for several organizations during which he lobbied for funding for the Invasive Species Centre and for establishment of the Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN), now associated with the Sault Ste Marie Innovation Centre. More recently, he has incorporated epoxy resin into some of his pieces and has created small tables and benches. Photographic products are primarily wildlife, landscapes and abandoned places. A wide range of his work is available at Mill Market and his wife has sewn items for sale as well.
